The Natural Pavilion shows the future of housing construction with sustainability and circularity as spearheads. The pavilion consists of 95% bio-based materials, most of which are sourced from the Netherlands.
The Exploded View Beyond Building consists of 100 natural building materials, brought together by Company New Heroes. The jury believes that this entrant has fully embraced the theme and given us a glimpse into technologies and ideas that can be part of a sustainable future. The natural world has many answers to the challenges we face and both the pavilion and the house translate that into a great visitor experience.
The Exploded View Beyond Building had its premiere during Dutch Design Week 2021 in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. After the Floriade Expo, it will get a second life as a travelling pavilion demonstrating what is possible with bio-based building materials.
