The European Tech4Biowaste project started in April 2021. The project consortium aimed at helping technology providers and searchers to find each other. Their goal was to provide an openly accessible dynamic database of relevant technologies of biowaste utilisation. One year later, in early 2022, the Tech4Biowaste-database online. After populating the database over the last 12 months, the developers will showcase the database during a webinar, where a database user, a technology provider and an advisory board member will share their experiences. Technology owners will also be shown, the long-term strategy for the project will be presented and the audience will be able to ask questions during a Q&A session.

Tech4Biowaste is a project of BTG Biomass Technology Group (the Netherlands, leader), Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant (Belgium) and the Nova-Institute (Germany) and was realised with funding of the Bio-based Industries Joint Undertaking (BBI JU).
