BAFTA: Call for Industrial Partners

The main objective of the BAFTA (Bio-Aromatics Feedstock and Technology Assessment) project is to have a comprehensive study on different aspects (technology, feedstock, freedom-to-operate) needed to assess the economic viability of a bio-aromatics demo-plant in Flanders, with emphasis on the applied technology. Focus of the project will be on lignin (waste) and wood biomass.

This request for further industrial partners envisages parties that are active in the value chain going from raw material providers, both primary bio-based material as secondary/waste, coming from the processing industry, over polymer producers relying on phenolic compounds, to formulators, with applications such as coatings, UV-stabilizers, paints, printing inks,
