This is clearly visible in Groningen Seaports, where a circular cluster is being created around the offshore wind industry. Here, companies such as Enerpy (radiolysis) and CfK Recycling (winner of the Sustainable Industry Challenge) independently from eachoter developed innovative technologies to chemically recycle the glass fiber composites of enormous wind turbine blades.

These recycled composites are actually used in the port area, including for parts of three bridges in the ‘Omzoming Oosterhorn’ project.
