Plastic wrapping film is widely used by logistics companies to secure cargo on pallets for storage and transport. However, this leads to billions of metres of packaging waste. DSV Global Transport and Logistics from Moerdijk (Netherlands) is challenging SMEs to come up with a better, circular solution.

The challende opened today (13 February) via the innovation & business booster SynchUp! Modelled on BioVoice in the circular biobased economy, SynchUp connects innovative SMEs and start-ups in the circular tech world with large companies. In doing so, they can earn an innovation contract; the key to concrete collaboration with the corporates and a comprehensive system of funding and support. A voucher of €10,000 is available for the development of a pilot.

Interested SMEs and start-ups, as well as freelancers and scientists, can find all the necessary information and submit their pitch before 31 March, on the SynchUp! website.
