The programme includes a series of online sessions where industry leaders in the circular economy will mentor and guide the entrepreneurs through Academy sessions. The highlight of the programme is a live event scheduled for 23 and 24 April 2024 in Ghent, Belgium, where the selected companies will present their innovative ideas and projects.

“Ghent, a global biotech hub since the 1970s, is a frontrunner in circular economy principles and green innovations. As European technology capital, we’re the home of cutting-edge universities and research centres, driving advancements in materials, chemistry, and sustainability. Local businesses are dedicated to bringing circular ideas from the lab to market. Hosting Tech Tour Circular 2024 aligns with Ghent’s strategy to connect startups with essential stakeholders for mutual growth,” said Sofie Bracke, Deputy Mayor of Economy, Trade, Sports and the Port of Ghent.

Participants will enjoy numerous benefits, including:

  • Extensive networking opportunities with high-profile investors and entrepreneurs.
  • Insights into the strategies and offerings of visionary entrepreneurs and seasoned investors.
  • The option to arrange one2one meetings with all attendees.
  • Opportunities for investors to explore joint investment ventures and partnerships.
