The first €10 million call for Biobased Circular was opened on 19 March. It involves projects in the field of:

  • Sustainable biobased building blocks: development of one or more new biobased building blocks for the conversion of chemical building blocks into polymers.
  • New generation building blocks and biopolymers: development of a new generation of biobased building blocks (such as polyols, dicarboxylic acids or hydroxycarboxylic acids) and from them polyesters.
  • Circular product design : (re)design of new products based on biobased materials for sectors such as construction and interiors, textiles and packaging.

Pre-application of a project is mandatory and can be done until 18 April. The final application must be submitted by 5 September at the latest. For more information, visit the RVO Netherlands website.
