The study modelled 111 different bioenergy options, including the use of bioenergy to offset the fluctuating output of renewable electricity from wind and solar, for heating and for transport. These include using bioenergy through biomass-fired power plants and using biogas/biomethane or biokerosene als fuels.
The main results and conclusions of the study are presented on the DBFZ website (in German).
