BIG-Cluster is an interregional innovation initiative between cluster organisations in Flanders, The Netherlands and North Rhine-Westphalia. It is coordinated by Catalisti, Circular Biobased Delta and CLIB. It aims to foster biobased innovation and support the cross-border region’s transition towards a more sustainable economy. BIG-Cluster aims at establishing novel value chains within the topics “Aromatics and Fine Chemicals from Woody Biomass”, “Chemicals from CO and CO2” and “Aviation fuels from various feedstocks”.

To gather input for the update of its innovation agenda, BIG-Cluster is asking the biobased community to share their views in a 5-minute survey, and help guide BIG-Cluster’s innovation activities in the field of circular biobased chemicals and processes. On 9 February, a virtual Industry Table will additionally be set up with stakeholders from each region. Invitations will be sent out by mid-January.

More information can be found on the BIG-Cluster website.
