‘Shaping the future food systems together’ is the central theme of the Foodvalley Summits 2020: an interactive, live-broadcast event, covering the latest market trends, innovations, opportunities and challenges in the fields of the Protein Shift, Food & Health and Circular Agrifood.

The Foodvalley Summits, organized for entrepreneurs, researchers, policy makers and many other agrifood experts around the world, will take place on October 13.

Protein Shift

Connect to the next generation of protein game changers from Europe, Asia and Oceania; be inspired by new, intercontinental collaborations in sharing plant-protein knowledge, products and ingredients.

Circular Agrifood

From circular raw-materials supply to waste stream valorization; learn what’s happening at the cutting edge of developments in agriculture, food, feed and technology and discover new business opportunities. The Agrifood program on October 14 has been cancelled. The summit will be divided into multiple online summits over the coming months.

Foodvalley Champions award

This two-year prize, the successor to the prestigious Foodvalley award, is handed out to the three most innovative companies in the fields of the Protein Shift, Food & Health and Circular AgriFood. Participants are evaluated on (1) the innovative character of the company and (2) the impact and innovative character of (their) recent innovation(s). The prize includes a promotional video showcasing the winner’s innovation, international profiling by Foodvalley NL and a one-year Foodvalley Membership. Read more about this years’ nominees.

The Foodvalley Summits 2020 are organized by Foodvalley NL, in close cooperation with the New Zealand-based food and innovation hub FoodHQ, the Good Food Institute (India), Enterprise Singapore, and – from the Netherlands – OnePlanet Research Center and Samen tegen Voedselverspilling (Together Against Food Waste).
