Ubuntoo is a digital collaborarion platform that sets out to connect the world’s changemakers, providing a digital gathering place for “the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels”, who will emerge as the leaders of sustainability for our time. Panel discussion about bioplastic

On the first day of the Sustainable Plastics & Materials Expo in Emmen, 7 april, Ubuntoo will be hosting a panel discussion about bioplastics. Therefore Ubuntoo has invited five different entrepreneurs leveraging new research and developments in the biobased industry to replace fossil fuel-based materials. During the session these entrepreneurs will introduce themselves with a short TED Talk to showcase their companies and the innovations they are working on, followed by a panel discussion with the audience on subjects like recyclability, bio-based, biodegradable and compostable materials.

About the Expo

The Chemport Expo, on 7 and 8 april 2020, shows the market of sustainable plastics and materials the business opportunities that the North of the Netherlands has to offer in the green chemical sector. by realising business opportunities in the circular & bio-based chemistry, by creating new collaborations and interacting networks.

The expo focuses on two main objectives:

  • Realising business opportunities in the circular & bio-based chemistry by creating new collaborations and interacting networks;
  • Showing, stimulating and promoting the northern circular & bio-based chemical sector (Chemport Europe: Chemical Cluster Emmen & Chemical Cluster Delfzijl and the Circular Friesland Association).
