Biobased products are sustainable, affordable and efficient alternatives to traditional products made from fossil raw materials. But what not everyone knows is that many of these bio-based products are already on the market: from everyday products to industrial solutions. They can also be found in local shops and supermarkets, making green choices easier.
CBE JU, a partnership between the European Union and the Bio-based Industries Consortium (BIC) has supported the development of many of these products.With a budget of €2 billion, it funds projects aimed at promoting the competitiveness of Europe’s advanced circular biobased industry.
