Editorial office / Leuna

The aim of this workshop is to present an overview of European forest based research infrastructures and to identify key development needs and bioeconomy value networks. Erifore is a Horizon 2020-funded project with the aim to establish a cooperation network between European open access research infrastructures in the field of forest based bioeconomy.

At the workshop Erifore-teams will present data on European forest-based bioeconomy infrastructure in the areas of biomass sourcing, biomass pretreatment, chemical and biotechnological conversion as well as downstream processing. Gathering together main research institutions and key industrial players active in this field opens up a unique opportunity for networking, discussion of future strategies and exploitation of knowledge.
