Chemelot InSciTe is celebrating its final festive event on 25 November in Maastricht. A great opportunity to catch up with (former) colleagues and peers and celebrate the successes that InSciTe has experienced throughout these past few years.

The morning will start with an interactive session, moderated by Sofie van den Enk. There, it will be highlighted how InSciTe has helped to establish new businesses to further develop technology towards application and commercialization, especially by a number of startups that have emerged from InSciTe’s program.

In the afternoon there will be two inspiring keynote lectures:

  • ‘Driving to a climate neutral Netherlands in 2050 … what would it take to get there?’ by Bart Strengers, Co-project manager ‘Netherlands Climate Neutral in 2050’ at PBL Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency;
  • ‘Bringing biomedical technology to product and patient’ by Vanessa LaPointe (Associate Professor at Maastricht University (MERLN), CEO of Lighthouse Biomedical and Aart van Apeldoorn, Assistant Professor at Maastricht University (MERLN), Co-Founder of Lighthouse Biomedical.

Especially for this occasion, all InSciTe projects will show live demonstrations of their technical and scientific outcome.

The meeting will be closed with the InSciTe Life Time Achievement Award Ceremony and a walking dinner with a special social event.
