A significant expansion of the 'Multi Purpose Pilot Plant' of Chemelot InSciTe will be opened on Brightlands Chemelot Campus on Monday 29, with which lignin can be processed into 'green oil', as a raw material for bioplastics, chemicals and fuels.

The Provincial Executive of Limburg, Joost van den Akker (EZ), will officially open the pilot plant at 1 p.m. After that there will be an interactive session with Eric Appelman (Director Business Development director of Brightlands Chemelot Campus), Emiel Staring (Director Chemelot InSciTe), Rinus Broxterman (CTO Innosyn) and Michael Boot (CEO Vertoro), with the possibility to ask questions. This is followed by a virtual tour of the Multipurpose Pilot Plant at 1.40 pm

Participation is free, but registration is required.
