Holland Circular Hotspot and Consulate General for the Netherlands in Düsseldorf together organize a webinar on 7 October to show the many opportunities for collaboration on chemical recycling between the Netherlands and the German state North Rhine-Westphalia.

This webinar sheds light on the latest developments and innovations in regard to chemical recycling and how cross-border collaboration can foster growth towards a circular plastic sector. Special attention will be paid to the collaboration between the German and Dutch chemical sector to enhance sustainability and establish global market opportunities.

16:12	State of the art of Chemical  Recycling  for plastics in Germany. Speaker on behalf of In4climate presents latest research and findings linked to the 2020 report  Chemical Plastics Recycling – potentials and development prospects, exploring the possibilities of recycling mixed plastic waste.
16:25	State of the art of  Chemical  Recycling  for plastics in the Netherlands. Mr. Willem Sederel, President of Circular Biobased Delta gives an overview of Chemical Recycling in the NL as well as insights in development paths and future collaboration between NL and Germany.
16:38	Best Practices on CR from NL. Maarten Stolk, Business Developer at Ioniqa Technologies presents: Hard learnt lessons of a successful Chemical PET recycling start-up and cross-border opportunities.
16:43	Best practice on CR from Germany.
16:48	A Dutch Perspective. Mr. Arnoud Passenier  from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Watermanagement elaborates on why the Dutch stimulate Chemical Recycling and how they built an enabling regulatory framework.
16:54	Perspective from NRW. Mr. Reinhold Rünker from the Ministry of Economy, Innovation, Digitalisation and Energy of the state North Rhine-Westfalia  gives an outlook on NRWs plans in chemical recycling and zooms in on the Trilateral Strategy Panel.
