BISC-E is an annual competition for Bachelor and Master students in Europe. The competition was conceived by TKI-BBE, in which the Dutch Top Sectors Agri & Food, Chemistry and Energy cooperate, with the aim of bringing students into direct contact with the biobased
sector. This year there are six participating teams that have developed a biobased product or process. During the final they will present their idea and answer questions. A professional jury assesses the entries on sustainability, technical and economic feasibility.

The jury members are:

  • Luuk van der Wielen – Distinguished Professor for Biobased Economy – TU Delft
