From 26 to 28 September, the 4th Baden-Württemberg Congress on the Bioeconomy will be organised in Stuttgart (Germany) by the Ministry of Food, Rural Areas and Consumer Protection and the Ministry of Environment, Climate and Energy Management of this southern German federal state.

The bioeconomy is seen as one of the innovation drivers of the coming years. It is an important part of a systemic change in the way goods are produced, used and recycled or used for energy at the end of their life. It creates new approaches in food supply and the provision of materials, products and energy. The bioeconomy is important for climate and environmental protection and also has great potential for creating sustainable jobs.

Baden-Württemberg is one of the leading regions for bioeconomy innovations in Europe.
