The Agriculture Council of Brussels brings together companies from the Benelux that are active in the bio-economy, private and public financiers and EU & Benelux policy makers. The agricultural council network supports entrepreneurs in finding tailor-made market information, obtaining information about local laws and regulations, overcoming trade barriers and starting up agricultural projects and chain management.
The meeting with the theme ‘Financing the Bioeconomy: from bottleneck to breakthrough’ is opened by European Commissioner Phil Hogan. Hans van Klink (DSD bv / Chembeet) and Roger Blokland (TNO / Biorizon) then talk about their experiences. Paulina Brzezicka of the European Investment Bank (EIB) will comment on a research report focusing on access to finance in Europe. There is also a presentation from the Circular Bioeconomy Investment Platform and Eleni Zika explains the BBI JU Synergy Label.
