On 12 March 2026, the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU) will host an online Info Day providing essential information for organisations considering submitting a project proposal to the CBE JU Call 2026.
Editorial office / Brussels

During the online session, experts from the European Commission, the Bio-based Industries Consortium (BIC) and CBE JU will present the topics of the 2026 call. The programme will cover participation conditions, submission rules and the evaluation process for project proposals.

In addition, participants will receive practical guidance on preparing strong proposals. Speakers will also share insights and lessons learned from previous funding calls to help organisations increase their chances of success. Dedicated Q&A sessions will allow participants to ask questions directly about the application procedure and the various call topics.

The Info Day will be held entirely online via webstreaming, allowing participants to follow the presentations from any location. A recording of the webinar will also be made available afterwards for those who cannot attend live.

Additional sessions

Alongside the central Info Day, CBE JU will organise additional information sessions in March, including an online event for Lithuania and Estonia (16 March) and in-person meetings in Bucharest (17 March) and in Hillsborough, Northern Ireland (20 March).

Later this spring, further events include the CBE JU Stakeholder Forum in Brussels (24 March), a networking event on 21 April, and an information meeting on the Circular Bio-based Europe partnership in Sweden (12 May). CBE JU will also be present at EUBCE 2026, which will take place from 19 to 22 May in The Hague.
