North Netherlands was decleared a Model Demonstration Region, by the EU. Here, about 11.000 SME’s, large companies like Friesland Campina, Royal Cosun and Avebe and the advanced (bio)chemical cluster in Emmen are active alongside prominent knowledge institutes in a region that has abundant natural resources. Together, they collaborate in innovation, towards a circular biobased economy.
The video was commissioned by the three northern provinces and is aimed at an international audience. The premiere was last week during ‘The 24 hours of the North’ in Brussels.
