Bio Innovations Europe will take place in The Hague on 10 and 11 June 2026. The event focuses on the commercialisation of industrial biomanufacturing in Europe and will bring together more than 500 bio-pioneers from across the region for two days of pre-arranged one-to-one meetings, knowledge exchange and networking.

Bio Innovations Europe connects companies that develop chemicals, ingredients and materials from bio-based raw materials with partners who can help them scale up, increase production volumes and make the transition from laboratory to market.

During the event, the Bio-based Industries Consortium (BIC) is organising a panel discussion entitled “Filling the funding gap to finance Europe’s next generation biorefinery scale-up”. The focus will be on how scale-up companies can access the capital needed to bridge the second valley of death: the phase between demonstration and commercial production. The panel will discuss what public funders, banks, corporate off-takers and private investors can do to facilitate this funding. The panellists will be announced shortly.

In addition to presentations and panel sessions, Bio Innovations Europe facilitates various networking opportunities, including one-to-one meetings, designed to forge strategic partnerships and commercial deals.

Further information about the speakers and the programme can be found on the Bio Innovations Europe website.
