These are the last projects to be eligible for funding. These include three flagship actions, four demonstration actions, seven research and innovation actions and four coordination and support actions.
A total of 229 project proposals were submitted for the seventh and last BBI JU call, for a total budget of € 1.1 billion. The last call was divided over 16 different topics, to support the faster development of new sustainable value chains, ranging from efficient processing of the supply of biomass to the marketing of biobased products.
More information about the selected projects will be published after signing the grant agreements, expected in May 2021.
