Annual Work Plan

The Annual Work Plan (AWP) 2020 of the BBI JU contains more information on this year’s main topics. These are highly relevant to meeting commitments under the UN Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs) and the COP 21 Paris Climate Agreement. The actions addressing the topics will help implement important EU policies and initiatives such as the European strategic long-term vision for a prosperous, modern, competitive and climate neutral economy ‘A Clean Planet for all’, the transition from a fossil to a sustainable bio-based economy, the need for circularity and industrial transformation, and the EU Bioeconomy Strategy.

More information and links to important documents can be found on the BBI JU website. The BBI JU Info Day on 22 April 2020 in Brussels will also provide information about the BBI JU initiative and all aspects of the Call process. Deadline for the submission of proposals is 3 September 2020, 17:00 CET.
