In order to promote development towards a strong biobased economy, education and the industry have joined forces in the Centre for Biobased Economy (CBBE) to train professionals. The CBBE does that by:
- Knowledge transfer and education development
- Strengthening applied research
- Stimulating innovation projects
The Centre for Biobased Economy (CBBE) consists of Wageningen UR, HAS University of Applied Sciences, Inholland, CAH Vilentum University of Applied Sciences, Van Hall Larenstein, Avans, HAN University of Applied Sciences, HZ.
This initiative has been co-facilitated by the Ministry of Economic Affairs. The Ministry of OCW facilitates participation of Avans/HZ in the CBBE.
