Bloomberg quotes anonymous sources who say DSM has lined up advisers as it considers making an offer for the division. DuPont has recently sent confidentiality agreements to prospective buyers. Except from DSM, these include Kerry Group from Ireland and the fragrances and flavorings maker Givaudan SA from Switzerland.

Last month, Bloomberg reported that DuPont has been evaluating options for the nutrition business including a sale or spinoff. Final decisions have been made by none of the suitors. Representatives for DuPont, DSM and Givaudan declined to comment. A representative for Kerry didn’t respond to questions by Bloomberg reporters.
