This two-day conference is an international networking event that stimulates the exchange of knowledge about the bio-economy in the non-food sector. Strategies and solutions are presented for efficient material and energy use of biomass and residues in the sense of a circular economy. More than 200 participants and 50 speakers from all over the world discuss bio-economy, green chemistry and concepts for sustainable land use.
