More than 320 participants have already signed up for the IMPACT event at the Bio Base Europe Plant in Ghent on 19 February 2018.

The event accompanies the inauguration of new research facilities worth more than € 9 million in the Pilot Plant. Specifically, this concerns the research infrastructure for gas fermentation and down-stream processing.

Interesting presentations

During the IMPACT event these new facilities can be viewed up close. Moreover, there is an interesting content program, with presentations by,  among others, Hans Bruyninckx from the European Environment Agency, Jason King from Oxford Biotrans, Wim Van Canneyt from Dow-DuPont, Gerald van Engelen from Cosun Biobased Products, Wim Soetaert from the Bio Base Europe Pilot. Plant and Philippe Muyters, the Flemish minister of work, economy, innovation and sport.

Partnering tool

Naturally, the IMPACT event also offers a lot of space to network. To connect participants to each other, an new online B2B partnering tool is used, which can be found on the BBEU.org website. The tool facilitates the establishment of business contacts while ensuring the privacy of participants.
