With the jacket the Swedish company wants to make a statement as a reaction on the Paris Climate Change Conference. Goal was to produce a jacket that’s free from fossil based material.

The company admits that there are other jackets on the market that are cheaper, more water resistant and more durable, but those aren’t 100% biobased. With the jacket they want to create an platform to discuss the use of biobased materials for clothing and make it more sustainable.
