The RoadToBio consortium is pleased to invite you to the second RoadToBio stakeholder workshop to introduce and discuss the bio-based opportunities identified within the project for the chemical industry to increase its bio-based portfolio.

Over the past year, the consortium, with the support of various stakeholders, identified opportunities to switch fossil process chains in the chemical industry to bio-based alternative methods. For this purpose, the technical side was analysed and complemented with studies on public perception and regulatory barriers. In this way nine sweet spots were identified, which are to be worked out in detail in the roadmap in order to show possibilities how bio-based alternatives can be included in the portfolio of the chemical industry.

We would like to invite you to take a closer look at these sweet spots, the methods we used for the identification and to discuss with the audience what is important to you when developing a new process. You will find the workshop agenda here.
