The summit is organised by the Bioeconomy Council (Bioökonomierat), an independant advisory body to the German Federal Government.
At the first Global Bioeconomy Summit 2015 in Berlin, more than 700 participants from about 80 countries met to define how bioeconomy would best contribute to green growth, the sustainable development goals and to climate change mitigation and adaptation.
This year, the GBS2018 will provide 13 expert workshops dealing with topics considered by international bioeconomy stakeholders as highly important and emerging. Speakers and pogram are now online.
Seats at the GBS2018 are filling up quickly – we are nearing 600 registrations. Please register as soon as possible if you plan to attend.
